Product Overview

Co-extrusion is a process where two different materials are extruded simultaneously through a single die, creating a single profile with distinct zones of different hardness and flexibility. The result: one component that does the job of two, bonded permanently at the molecular level.

At Shine Masters, we co-extrude rigid PVC structural cores with flexible EPDM, TPE, or TPV sealing zones. This is increasingly specified for bus door seals, automotive glass runs, and container door profiles — where a traditional two-part assembly would require separate production, inventory, and assembly steps.

The performance advantage is significant: co-extruded profiles maintain consistent geometry under compression, resist delamination, and reduce overall system cost. We offer full custom tooling for new profile geometries.
